Bridge, ACBL Duplicate

The Leisure World Duplicate Bridge Club is a sanctioned invitational club belonging to the American Contract Bridge League.  Our members are resident bridge players.  Invitational means that we may invite non-resident bridge players to join us in playing a session.  The club holds regular games on Monday and Thursday in the lobby of Clubhouse 3.  Masterpoints are awarded according to ACBL regulations.  There are no annual dues, but a playing fee is collected from each player at each game.  From this, we pay our director, monthly sanction fees to ACBL, purchase supplies, and hold at least 2 parties a year.  One does not have to be a member of ACBL to play in our games.  One just has to love the game.

Bridge is more than a pastime.  It’s a passion!  Players return to the table time and time again for the mental challenge, the competition, and the company of others who share their love of the world’s greatest card game.
